BP and Kenneth R. Feinberg,Esquire
Kenneth R. Feinberg, specialized in mediation and alternative dispute resolution during his long and distinguished legal career, allocated money to victims of the BP oil spill and its many consequences with fund handling, putting a price on unspeakable tragedy. He had garnered praise from the victims of 9/11, for his leadership of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. His adept handling got him the BP deal since he had established a reputation for fairness.
Brief background on BP OIl Spill per National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's N.O.A.A) Emergency Response Division (ERD), which is part of NOAA's Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R). ERD was formerly known as the Hazardous Materials Response Division, or HAZMAT.
At 2:24 AM (local time Central Standard Time) on April 21, 2010, NOAA was notified of an explosion and fire on a deepwater semisubmersible drilling platform some 50 miles SE of the Mississippi Delta. The incident on the DEEPWATER HORIZON occurred at approximately 11:00 PM on 20 April (a little more than three hours earlier) with more than 120 crew reported aboard. The rig is still on fire, has been evacuated, and USCG Search and Rescue (SAR) operations are continuing. A secondary concern is the estimated 700,000 gallons of #2 Fuel Oil or Marine Diesel Fuel reported onboard. The USCG has requested trajectory support.
He was or still is, US Treasury Special Master for TARP Executive Compensation which allows him to collect hefty speaking fees. He also determined fair executive pay at institutions receiving TARP bailout funds.
Feinberg made newspaper headlines in October 2009 when he announced that he was steeply cutting total compensation at the firms under his supervision. A Wall Street Journal analysis revealed that, although Feinberg did slash total compensation by half, he increased the base pay, in some cases by hundreds of thousands of dollars, after the financial institutions complained about his original plan.
Lately Feinberg is doling out money for General Motor Corporation's faulty ignitions. Said to be valued at about $2 each, the car parts have nevertheless knocked at chunk out of GM's bottom line of profits some of which is supposedly allotted to the U.S. government until the debt is paid unlike Fisker Automotive of Finland, A123 Systems,Solyndra LLC and others who went bankrupt leaving taxpayers "holding the bag" and DNC donors heading for millionaire retirement. Some people think that A123 COULD have marketed an automotive 12 volt Lithium battery for the millions of automobiles on America's roads, not just the power supplies for electric cars. SEARS is offering some sort of 12 volt Lithium battery for over $3100, reduced from $3600, while China offers them in bulk for around $300. Had A123 marketed the super powerful Lithium batteries for average cars, they MIGHT have reduced the price and carved out a niche in the marketplace avoiding bankrupsy and selling out for a fraction of what they owed, creating the gigantic loss for taxpayers.
Many of these "GREEN and GREAT government business partners" have left for Switzerland and parts unknown for "the good life" since they reaped a good windfall.
Chicago lawyer, Kenneth R. Feinberg announced the guidelines for compensating the families of those killed and those injured as a result of an ignition switch defect in 2.6 million General Motors small cars. GM made a statement that on Aug. 1,2014. Will it be his toughest assignment?
Feinberg and his team will continually use his guidelines to determine just who exactly is a victim and who is not. Mechanics began noticing that people with heavy keyrings full of keys and weighty dangling objects were blaming their key arrangements but the faulty switches themselves were at risk to inadvertently slip into accessory position, causing engines to shut off, disabling power steering that was not even available formerly on small cars and power brakes would stiffen and become bulky. To make matters worse, air bags would not deploy so if a crash happened the occupants would not be cushioned by the bags. GM itself linked the ignition defect to 54 accidents and 13 deaths. Congressional committees investigating the issue thought the number to be a good deal higher. Naturally plaintiff attorneys wanted the actual number of victims to be much higher. But determining which accidents were a result of the defect is tricky due to factors such as event data recorders or "black boxes" with of the cars involved in the accidents being unavailable. Whether an automobile was still running, speed it was going, and whether brakes were engaged in the critical moments before impact were all recorded in these "black boxes" which are ORANGE on aircraft to make them easier to spot in the wreckage. Nevertheless, sometimes the box cannot place the faulty ignition switch to blame for an accident.
Perhaps even more difficult, Feinberg will have to demonstrate to claimants that he is impartial and not a tool of GM and the federal government. That may be complicated by the sizable fee he is charging GM. Although Feinberg has been pro bono and donated his services in certain cases, his law firm earned $1.25 million per month for the bulk of its two years working for BP. GM has not disclosed Feinberg's fee. At the same time, Feinberg is under pressure to produce what GM's chief executive Mary T. Barra has said the company is paying for--getting compensation fairly and quickly to the loved ones of those killed and those seriously injured because of the defect.
As for 9/11 victims, Kenneth R. Feinberg has dispensed over $7 billion among victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. He parceled out donations given to the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre. He checked out over a half million claims and allocated billions of dollars to business people who suffered economically as a result of the massive BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. And he divided and dispersed the donations given to victims of the mass shooting in Aurora, Colo. and the Boston Marathon bombing. The number of victims went from dozens to 175 as more people realized they were injured or had losses due to the bombing.
Beginning in late January of the 1991 Gulf War, the Iraqi Army deliberately and idiotically destroyed tankers, oil terminals, and oil wells in Kuwait, causing the release of about 900,000,000 barrels of oil. This was the largest oil spill in history and was extremely stupid unless someone wanted to reclaim the oil AND make millions of dollars doing it. Who's HAZMAT cleaned up the mess?

Gulf Oil Spill Sabotage?
Was BP Gulf Rig Sabotaged in 2010?

It stunned and amazed millions when President Barack Obama announced he would look into US drilling in early 2010.
Then on Earth Day or Karl Marx' Birthday, the BP rig exploded during a Safety celebration killing 11 some of which bodies were NEVER found.
There was a distinct possibility that Obama KNEW a disaster was going to befall the oil industry, so he made that state,ment that he would "look into drilling". The environMENTALS were aghast! Floored!
That said, many people not born yesterday, were skeptical when BP President Lamar McKay announced on or about May 2,2010 that the BP spill was an unfortunate accident. PoliticusUSA lost no time condemning "Right Wing conspiracy nuts" (2) for having the utter gall to think Leftists could "do such a thing". A Leftist environMENTAL group called Earth Liberation Front (ELF), once stole heavy equipment and used it to destroy two radio towers in Washington state to "protest dangerous radio waves", not to mention shut down radio broadcasted free speech which is guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. This item was placed in the Constitution for UNPOPULAR or CONTROVERSIAL speech, not everyday blather to take up broadcast time. Yet the Left operates its blather under protection of the Constitution whilst NOBODY is demolishing Left Wing radio towers or TV antennas or broadcast equipment.
The Earth Liberation Front (ELF), has also been responsible for the burning of homes in California which produces many toxic chemicals for brave firefighters to contend with not to mention decreased overall air quality in a state everybody knows is plagued with SMOG and other breathing hazards. Another"environMENTAL group blew up a Hummer dealership causing MORE polution in ONE day than all the Hummers they could have sold. be it so noted that there ARE environmentals who do not drive cars, fly in planes, nor use plastic...yet the whack jobs get ALL the headlines when they Muslimize the environment.
Thus it becomes apparent that left-leaning people are, indeed, capable of violent destruction. Some peacenicks MAY be harmless but many like ELF are destructive. Destroying radio towers and a car dealership COULD have killed someone. Death or homicide during the commission of a felony is MURDER. Killing during the commission of a CRIME is defined as MURDER. Saying they did not MEAN or intend to kill some adult or child DOES NOT RESTORE that life taken nor mitigate that a dangerous deed lead to murder and loss of innocent life.
So when the BP spokesman blamed the environMENTAL disaster on something as "mundane" as equipment failure, as "Quinn and Rose" of radio fame say,"The BS Detector went off" to enunciate an alarm. Obviously SOMEBODY told Mr. McKay to say what he did, even though the investigation as of May 1, 2010 was far from conclusive. During the ABC (All Bara Cobama) interrogator Jake Tapper quizzed Mr. Big Corporation about the BP "less than stellar safety record" which drew a comment about the investigation being underway and BP's eagerness to find out the cause.
To make matters strident, it has been reported that engineers who work on offshore deep rigs say that this type of accident is HISTORY due to many fail-safe devices. Also noted that despite Katrina, a devastatingly powerful hurricane, there were ZERO oil spills in the gulf. Boats and ships were blown miles off course, sunk and damaged, yet NO OIL SPILLS OCCURRED. This is DOCUMENTED. (3)
This comment was followed by a reference to the sabotage of environmentalists opined by #1 radio Talk Show Host Rush Limbaugh. (3) Limbaugh had opined,"Environmental whackos" may have blown up oil rig to "head off more oil drilling." On his April 29 radio show, Rush Limbaugh questioned "the timing" of the explosion and said: "Lest we forget ... the cap and trade bill was strongly criticized by hardcore environmentalist whackos because it supposedly allowed more offshore drilling and nuclear plants." Limbaugh noted that SWAT TEAMS (4)(5) (7A)were being sent to inspect other gulf rigs. As if to HIDE the SWAT teams intervention on the internet, a BUSINESS called itself SWAT and proceeded to much up internet searches in a move for profit or something far more sinister. The spin was also that a Democrat Senator had mentioned publically that there had been numerous oil fires since 2006 so why say this Earth (Marxist) Day was special? The article also took up for "environmentalists who LOVE the environment" and why would they want 5000 barrels of oil per day to pollute it? How about "because MANY of them are Marxist NUTS!" as exemplified by ELF and many other wacko Leftist groups. "By any means necessary is a motto of theirs. Nevermind creatures die from oil smothering them. Communism MUST stop the uS economy and further dependence on government and socialism which is a step toward communism. IF one LOOKS UP Communist Goals...be prepared for a rude shock. MOST Communist Goals however crazy...have happened in the USA.
On the same page, a commenter said,"Bush did it in retaliation for Katrina", which was countered by,"Where was the media coverage when Louisianna people waved "OBAMA WHY HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN US" signs because it took Obama LONGER to respond to the spill than the vile evil BUSH had taken to respond to Katrina! The lame stream media was TOO BUSY GIVING OBAMA a PASS on taking a long time to START THE GULF CLAENUP. Keven Cosner appeared with equipment for oil salvage/cleanup to do his share but was sent away. It seems that a UNION ORGANIZATION FROM THE NORTH had to do the work of cleanup.
There was NO NON UNION to participate. Keven Costner and his scientist genius friend were OUT...the UNION FIX WAS IN!
Later actor Steven Baldwin, the "GOOD Baldwin", sued Kenen Costner as an investor who had lost money but the judge decided the loss was NOT Costner;s fault. (7B)

Word from Russians was that a North Koran freighter left Cuba went into the Gulf of Mexico and dropped off a suicidal submarine crew who torpedoed the BP rig then blew themselves up beneath it to sink it entirely because their dictator had a grudge against the South Korean company called Hyundai Heavy Industries Co LTD that financed and manufactured the deep water rig and ordered them to do so! This story was changed into a "One-Man Sub" by one lonesome blogger who did not realize that the last lone submariner was in the late 1700s. The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor with two-man subs. Another "smoke blower spin-miester" claimed that the sub had gone all the way from Cuba far beyond its reported 80 mile range. Fellows, get the story right...or be thought fools that ye may be. The story is fantastic and unbelievable as it is without illogical details from sources who know nothing. Military Times thread guffawed the idea of NorKoms making a hit and lampooned each other..(9A) Some Cuban dock worker may have spotted the sub either alongside or as cargo or in a modified sub launching part of the "cargo vessel" Dai Hong Dan on April 18,2010 supposedly bound for Venezuela's Puerto Cabello. This was some 130 miles from the Deep water Horizon oil platform. At the nearest point the Dai Hong Dan was to have launched a SSC SANG-O Class Mini-Submarine (Yugo Class) with a maximum range of 321 Kilometers or about 200 miles.On the night of April 20th, the sub, manned by 17th Corps Sniper Suicide troops,(9B) supposedly fired two incendiary torpedoes into the rig killing 11 who were never found and injuring many more. About two days later, the sub self-destructed under the platform sinking the $1 Billion rig. All this was supposedly reported by Russia's Northern Fleet not saying how they knew. Big news was that US had ordered a blackout of news media. The same source could have related the "nuclear option" of using a bomb to glass off the leak, which was "weird" but got reported.

Obviously SOMEBODY told Mr. McKay to say what he did, even though the investigation as of May 1, 2010 was far from conclusive. During the ABC (All Bara Cobama) interrogator Jake Tapper quizzed Mr. Big Corporation about the BP "less than stellar safety record" which drew a comment about the investigation being underway and BP's eagerness to find out the cause.
To make matters strident, it has been reported that engineers who work on offshore deep rigs say that this type of accident is HISTORY due to many failsafe devices. Also noted that despite Katrina, a devastatingly powerful hurricane, there were ZERO oil spills in the gulf. (3)

The article also took up for "environmentalists who LOVE the environment" and why would they want 5000 barrels of oil per day to polute it? How about "because MANY of them are Marxist NUTS!" as exemplified by ELF and many other wacko Leftist groups.

Another commenter, after saying he had NEVER considered conspiracies noted the STRANGENESS of the worst coal mining explosion in decades AND a catastropic oil spill JUST happening right before cap and trade law was to throttle and squelch and strangle the "RECOVERING" and "STRUGGLING" economy. Word from Russians was that a North Koran freighter left Cuba went into the Gulf of Mexico and dropped off a suicidal submarine crew who torpedoed the BP rig then blew themselves up beneath it to sink it entirely because their dictator had a grudge against the South Korean company called Hyundai Heavy Industries Co LTD that financed and manufactured the deep water rig and ordered them to do so! This story was changed into a "One-Man Sub" by one senatoresque lonesome blogger who did not realize that the last lone submariner was in the late 1700. Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor with two-man subs. Another imaginationist claimed that the sub had gone all the way from Cuba far beyond its reported 80 mile range. Fellows, get the story right...or be thought fools that ye may be. The story is fantastic and unbelievable as it is without illogical details from sources who know nothing. Military Times thread guffawed the idea of KorKoms making a hit and lampooned each other..(9) Some Cuban dock worker may have spotted the sub either alongside or as cargo or in a modified sub launching part of the "cargo vessel" Dai Hong Dan on April 18,2010 supposedly bound for Venezuela's Puerto Cabello. This was some 130 miles from the Deep water Horizon oil platform. At the nearest point the Dai Hong Dan was to have launched a SSC SANG-O Class Mini-Submarine (Yugo Class) with a maximum range of 321 Kilometers or about 200 miles.On the night of April 20th, the sub, manned by 17th Corps Sniper Suicide troops, supposedly fired two incendiary torpedoes into the rig killing 11 who were never found and injuring many more. About two days later, the sub self-destructed under the platform sinking the $1 Billion rig. All this was supposedly reported by Russia's Northern Fleet not saying how they knew. Big news was that US had ordered a blackout of news media. The same source could have related the "nuclear option" of using a bomb to glass off the leak, which was "weird" but got reported.
Another brought up good points that brought up the question of,"Why did the rig collapse after a fire on April 20,2010?" We thought these things were "unsinkable".(10)
On a lighter note, Scott Adams who draws the syndicated Dilbert comic strip has jumped on the Clown Wagon and denounced The Donald as a prankster. He wauld never be that cruel as he knows to lead people on for a joke would make him the most hated man on the planet Earth.(6) Nevertheless, Scott, whose strip is seriously funny because there are bosses like Dilbert's and plenty of employees who get frustrated by their passive/aggressive incompetence. I wonder if William Shatner would sign on as Donald Trump's VP...as he is a Naturalized American born in Canada, Donald might overlook him or maybe he is ineligible. VP criteria SHOULD require native born as well since VPs occasionally assume the mantle of POTUS.
